The shoot focused on three main areas: the exterior, key interior details, and the heart of the building—the control power room station on the roof. These elements were highlighted to capture both the building’s overall design and its crucial, functional spaces.
We captured every angle of the building, both during the day and at dusk, with no room for delay. Rain or shine, the photos had to be taken before handover, leaving us just one day to finalise everything.
We decided to incorporate drone shots to capture unique perspectives that could only be achieved from a higher vantage point. These aerial views offer a fresh angle, highlighting the details and scale of the scene in ways that ground-level shots simply can’t match.
As per Built’s request, every angle and room across all three floors needed to be photographed. This comprehensive approach ensured that no detail was missed, providing a complete visual representation of the entire space from every perspective.
Once the interior was furnished, we coordinated with the college to use our specialized Matterport camera to capture the entire space from the ground floor to the third. This allowed us to create an immersive 360° walkthrough, giving viewers the ability to explore every area of the building virtually.
By remaining flexible and mindful of time constraints and potential weather challenges, Eddison Photographic Studios successfully captured the high-quality photographs that allowed Built to showcase their expertise in finishes and construction. This approach ensured that the images highlighted their work in the best possible light.
Leveraging our expertise, we carefully timed each shoot to capture the building in the best possible light, creating varied looks and moods that reflected the building’s different atmospheres at different times of day. This allowed us to highlight the structure’s unique qualities from multiple perspectives.
