Our Story

“Being high school sweethearts, our wedding was inevitable in the eyes of our family and friends. We got engaged, and planned our wedding for our eleventh anniversary in November the year after. We pretty much had everything planned by the end, and our wedding was plunged into uncertainty with Covid. Luckily we didn’t have to postpone our wedding or make any major changes, apart from cutting our guest list by half. Fortunately, this meant we were able to have the intimate and small wedding we had always hoped for.”

Ceremony & Reception

he wedding day unfolded beautifully, with the couple preparing for their big moment at Hotel Kurrajong. A serene tea ceremony set the tone before they exchanged heartfelt vows, surrounded by loved ones. The reception that followed was a celebration of love, laughter, and joy. Location photos were taken at the picturesque Kingston Foreshore and the iconic National Library, capturing memories that would last a lifetime.

A note from the Bride & Groom….

“As luck would have it, our wedding day fell on the hottest day that month – it reached 36 degrees, and there was a freak afternoon storm! Nevertheless, Eddie ensured the bride (in her wedding dress) was comfortable the whole day. We started the day at Hotel Kurrajong for our tea ceremony, then went out to Kingston Foreshore and the National Library for location shots, and finally returned to Hotel Kurrajong in the evening for the ceremony and reception.

Eddie’s professionalism and experience made him an absolute pleasure to work with that long, hot day. He and his wife perfectly captured all the candid and unexpected moments that made our wedding day special.”
